Vintage T.P. Co. Pharmaceutical Acid Proof Stone Mortar Lab Or Kitchen

This beautiful, heavy mortar and pestle was acquired at an estate sale. The glass pestle has some light usage marks and the mortar is in exceptional condition with a small discolored mark on the bottom which may be removable. The mortar weighs 2 lbs 3oz while the pestle is 6.7oz. The pestle is 6” long. The mortar is 4 7/8” diameter x 3” high. I was told the previous owner used this in her kitchen but I do not know how she utilized it. Best Regards!
