Vintage Ornate PHARMACY Drug DOUBLE EAGLE HEAD Handles MORTAR and PESTLE

Description

Vintage pharmacist mortar and pestle with eagle head handles. The pestle is 7¾" long and 1½" wide at the bottom. Mortar is 7¾" long from Eagle head to Eagle head. It sits 4¼" tall. The cup is just over 4" in diameter. Bottom are the markings "R.A.K. 2 " VFOLAN, is printed on one side of the base, and MDCL (1650). These items belonged to a California pharmacist who used them and worked well into his 90s.
