Vintage, 3" Brass Pharmacist Mortar & Pestle, Concave Base with Shaped Handles

Description

This vintage brass pharmacist's mortar and pestle was used to crush and is in good lightly used vintage condition with one small nick at the rim, please see photos. There are docorative incised lines around the body of both the mortar and the pestle as well. It has uniquely shaped handles and a concave base. The tip of the pestle has an embossed 1.
Mortar measures 3" tall, 3.125" wide in diameter at the top, 3.5" wide including handles, 1.875" on the base. The pestle measures approximately 5.75"long.
