Vintage 1650 Gothic Bronze Mortar and Pestle Eagle Porcupine Hedgehog MDCL VFOLA. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
This is a promotional item from a drug company. Another listing claims that "The pestle reads 1949 Coricidin 1969. (Coricidin is used to aid in the relief of common colds.) At the top of the pestle is a leaf emblem."
A bit of background -- my grandparents used to own a pharmacy in the 70s - 90s and this was left in our storage unit. It has been stored safely for a long time, and seems to be in good condition. There are no cracks in the plaque and it looks like it was hung for a brief period of time.
