A mortar & pestle which was used in apothecary for the crushing of medicinal items.
The mortar has an overall height of about 5inches.
Max dia across the top of about 6inches, base dia of about 5inches.
Pestle, max overall length of about 9.2inches, dia of about 1.75inches.
Wonderful patina.
Condition: Considering the age, the overall condition is excellent and are not subject to any major blemishes.
