Up for sale is this
HUGE and HEAVY 38lb 10.5oz Cast Iron Pestle and Mortar set. It is old and was used back in the day. It is in overall good condition for it's age. Has some dings around the top of the mortar as pictured. This was probably used in either mining or a pharmacy type setting. It measures about 8 1/2" tall to the side of the mortar jar and the pestle is about 10 1/2" long. I believe someone has recently stained the top of the pestle. This came from an estate sale in Missouri, i'm not sure where it originated from before that. The man that owned it had stuff from his grandfather so no telling how old this thing is. Shipping:THIS IS HEAVY!!! 38+ pounds heavy! It will probably have to be double or triple boxed so it doesn't smash through the bottom of the box when this is shipped. I apologize, but shipping will probably be calculated high as this is HEAVY!!! Please check out the photos. A picture is worth a thousand words.
