Art Nouveau Brass Mortar and Pestle Faces Heavy Apothecary Herb Witch Primitive

Nice and heavy brass mortar and pestle. Appears to be very handmade so there are artist imperfections throughout. The brass has discolored some with age. Overall excellent condition. We have not been able to find another set like this one with the face detail. It came out of a 1930's estate so we think it is at least that old. If you have any information that will improve our ad, please do share as we love to learn!
Approximate measurements:
- Mortar: 2.50" tall x 4.75" diameter rim x 3.25" diameter base
- Pestle: 7.50" long x 1.75" diameter at widest (bottom)
This piece was purchased pre-virus pandemic. The WHO (World Health Organization) has announced that packages are safe even if being sent from a place that has the virus (very loosely worded).
That being said, we have ALWAYS cleaned and disinfected every treasure we curate and continue to do so today.
