Antique Wood Pestle & Burl Mortar

Description

Unsigned antique wood pestle and burl mortar: 9 1/2" long pestle and 6 x 5 1/4 inch mortar.  Mortar has both dramatic burl and bird's eye figuring.  Pestle is in generally good condition, with some burn marks.  Mortar has a top rim burn spot and 2 tight burl wall cracks.
