ANTIQUE Vintage BRASS MORTAR & PESTLE Apothecary RX Pharmacy Herbs from Greece

Description

My father, who was born in and grew up in Greece, inherited this from his mother.  He remembers his mother always having and using this. My father is 85 years old. He is the 2nd youngest of 4 children.  My grandmother either received this as a gift when she got married, or, inherited this from her mother or grandmother. Approximate age of this piece --

Antique Brass Mortar and Pestle
Both together weigh 2 lbs 5 1/2 ounces
Has beautiful etched detail rings around the mortar, and on the inside top of the mortar.  Pestle also has etched lines around its circumference, along the length of the pestle.
Mortar cup is 4 & 3/8" tall with a 3 & 7/8" opening on top.  Base of mortar has a diameter of
2 & 3/8"
Pestle is 7 & 9/16" long
Condition: See patina and pitting on mortar and pestle -- expected of an antique piece.  No noted dents or dings
