antique traveling hand held mortar & pestle; iron and marble; juicer?

Description

My friend sold it to me as a juicer; I think it's much more. I think it's a mortar & pestle, designed to be carried, or used with one hand, maybe in the field. It is about 9 3/8" total length. The white ironstone or marble dish is 2 1/2" across bottom, 3 1/2" on top, and 1 7/8" tall (3" total height at handle). There is a small crack on the underside wooden part of lid. The ironstone or marble insert is spouted, and all good. The (rubber)gasket between metal and marble is twisted some; I did not take it out. I've never seen another.
