    Description

    Up for your consideration is a beautiful extremely heavy metal bronze mortar. It is eye catching and has a muscular presence.
    It came from a fine old estate with many antiques and decorative items.
    It is decorated all around with masks that are separated by lugs.
    Pitting on the bottom due to age circa 16th century Spain.
    Measurements are 2" diameter 1 3/4" tall.
    It's a mini mortar possibly used for medicine purposes. Extremely dark due to age. Any questions please ask, happy to provide any info to you.
