Mortar & Pestle.
This is a cast iron, bell shaped Mortar that has a great primitive look.
The Mortar weighs 7.49 lbs and stands 4 3/4" tall, and is 5 3/8" diameter opening and the base is 4 1/2" diameter. The pestle weighs 1.78 lbs and is 8" long. Total weight for the two pieces is 9.26 lbs.
It is in good condition for the age, it does show signs of age, use and wear. It does not appear to have any cracks or structural damage. Please see the pictures for condition.
This is an estate find and is being sold as is as found, I have no other information or history about this item.
