ANTIQUE OTIS CLAPP & SON SILVER PLATE OVER BRASS PHARMACEUTICAL MEDICAL TOOL PILL CRUSHER PESTLE ?
The slots on the bottom go all the way through to the bottom of the container. Has had one solder repair on the top and the device has been well used...possibly from the Civil War era or earlier...if anyone has an expert opinion on the date and use of this device please let me know - very early and very unique and heavy and superb quality...
It would make an excellent addition to any collection!
