Antique Maddock & Sons Apothecary Mortor & Pestle
Wonderful turn of the century Mortor & Pestle made by Thomas Maddock & Sons of Trenton N.J. This is a very rustic and original apothecary mortor .  The pestle is made of  glass and is not the original pestle that came with this mortor. The mortor has  a #1 on the embossed on the bottom  with the makers mark ( worn & hard to see  )  TH&S Maddock & Sons Co. WARRANTED TM&S ACID PROOF, the pestle is a #4  made of  glass   The pair does show wear and will make a wonderful display in your office or home.

Measures; Pestle =  5.25" long, Mortor =  5" diameter  across
Condition; Vintage with chips on spout and edges  of mortor and the glass pestle shows wear from age and use but no chips or cracks
