Antique Heavy Brass Apothecary Mortar & Pestle, c. 19th Century. This is a beautiful heavy brass mortar and pestle with a turned design to the body with an applied handle on each side. The brass pestle is a long example with a shaped surface on each end. The mortar and pestle are heavy and weigh just under four pounds.
