    Description

    Solid Dark wood. Clearly native though it has not been determined native from what country. Polished natural finish. Pestle has lost some of its luster. Both are in excellent condition for their age from being maintained among a collection of antique mortar & pestles with the only defects being a few spots of wear of the finish of the pestle. Estimated to be about circa 1900-1920. Previous owner was an actual apothecary and collector of antique apothecary items.
