Antique Mortar Stoneware Crock Bowl & Glass Pestle.
Located at an estate sale in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Circa -  Mid to Late 1800's, US Made !
Large white antique crock measures approx. 4 1/2'' Height x 6.25'' Diameter
Pestle measures approx. 5'' Long and has the number 4 at the top.
The large crock has some hair line cracks and some slight discoloration on the rim, otherwise very good condition. Antique mortar & pestle sets in this condition are rare and hard to find! This set is well made and very heavy, it can be used as a collector's item or to crush & mix ingredients as our ancestors before us.
