Description

An antique Acme Trade Mark apothecary stoneware mortar & pestle.  A delightful antique white stoneware mortar & pestle set is marked Acme and trade marked and it is part of a client's family items of antique pharmaceutical items.
This antique white stoneware mortar and pestle set dates to circa 1880's and is marked on the bottom Acme Trade Mark and incised 3.  The mortar has a condition issue with a hairline crack on one of its sides.  The mortar measures approx. 3-1/2" high x 6-1/2" in diameter. The pestle is incised with a 4 and measures approx. 2-1/2" wide x 8-1/2" long.
