    Antique 1700's Fine Cast Brass Apothecary Mortar and Pestle Set
    Here is a small antique pharmaceutical or chemist's mortar, made of thick cast and shaved brass or bronze
    Characteristic shape body with decorative rings/bands
    The pestle is turned very beautifully and also enhanced with etched lines
    Antique, mid/second half of the 18th century, possibly American

    Measurements:
    Approx. 3" high, 4.75" top diameter (across). The pestle is 7.25" long x 1.3" diameter
