Comp: 95% Copper, 5% Zinc/tin.
Obverse Details:
Rim and edge showing near complete, with some excessive wear seen and a few marks an nicks. The date is easy to see at the bottom. The banner where the first motto was placed is showing some letters but very faint due to this coin’s age and circulated use. The leaves around the shield are draped over an are showing heavy wear all over. The shield is also well outlined, but to is showing about the same excessive circulated wear. The background does have original colors, wear and tones. Contact marks, and scratches are noticed. The texture is original and smooth.
Reverse Details:
Rim and edge are complete, a few marks and nicks are noticed. The lettering around the outer rim, are showing some damage on AMERICA and corrosion in this area. The wreath has decent details, with heavy wear seen. The background has original darker brown colors, original wear and tones. Contact marks, roughness/corrosion and scratches are noticed. A nice large 2 is present, and the words of CENTS are simple to see. The ribbon/bow at the bottom are seen, but well with original wear. The texture is original and smooth.
