    Description

    This auction is for a 1864 Civil War, large motto 2-cent piece.  It is circulated but exhibits very good detail.  "WE" is clear but not strong.  Most of the horizontal lines in the shield are seen.  Some weak areas of light corrosion are visible under magnification in the shield and to the lower left of the obverse.  Using "Grading Coins by Photographs" (Q. David Bowers), I grade it in "Very Fine" condition but I am not an expert grader.
